Join us for the 2025-2026 season!
Phoenix is the competitive year-round club swim team at the Mount Laurel YMCA.
MLY is committed to a developmentally appropriate approach to competitive swimming. We employ a holistic coaching style that encompasses coachingconnection, technique and skill development, physical conditioning, and racing skills, leading to exceptional experiences both in and out of the pool.
MLY Phoenix swimmers compete locally, regionally, and nationally throughout the season in both YMCA Swimming and USA Swimming sanctioned meets.
Swimmers aged 6 to 18 who can swim a full lap of freestyle and backstroke and have a working knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly are eligible to try out for the team.
Evaluation Dates & Times:
Tuesday, June 24 / July 8 / July 15 – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Thursday, July 3 / July 17 – 3:00 – 4:00 PM
Tuesday, July 1/ July 15 / July 22 – 7:30 – 8:30 PM
No reservations are needed to schedule an evaluation. Be ready to swim in your
suit and goggles. Walk in the front door, and our staff will be ready for you.
